IMAGINATION AT IT'S BEST

Cooking calms me down. I hardly have time to
really savour the moment of preparing
a dish. I wish I have though. Once a week
I'd make a nice set of menu - for my own
gratification. Not just by eating it but
also by making it. The process is a little
gruesome for some people, I enjoy it.
Process of planning a menu ahead of time.
The process of preparation. The list of
the ingredients I have to shop for.
Kinda exciting....
The days I have to work, I just don't have
any time to even grab a bread and make
a sandwich on my own and bring it to work.
I eat a lot of grapes, apples, oranges on the
go. Fruits on the go. So if you see a girl
driving in traffic while eating grapes-- That
could be me.
(I pop them in my mouth as if they are
popcorns) ..
So basically, my whole day I eat fruits and
water. Not really sure that's healthy-
but I think I rather eat those than
chips, cookies and all those bad carbs.
Although, no matter how " healthy" I eat
on the road.. while driving or when am at
work, I still go home and somehow ruin...
a " supposedly" magnificient - diet regimen"
( if you call it like that).. Since all day,
I've never touch any carbs or meat..
This is me.. when I get home..
- Open the fridge, get a TV dinner, heat it up
and turn on the TV  - and find FOOD NETWORK
and Waaahhlahhhh - thats my dinner.
Those TV dinners can be soooo good or extra bad.
I just love them though - Quick, Easy, Tasty.
Of course it's tasty - its loaded with all those
SODIUM you could imagine.
I can eat anything bad, any worst food ever
and still manage to eat them while watching
FOOD channels.
There's something about watching them make
this deliciously looking foods .. and it gives you
extra appetite that no matter what's in front of you,
everything looks good.
I can eat a spoiled food - (been in the fridge)
for a week or so.. and still enjoy as long as
TV is on.
Weird habit I know. I could get food poisoning
or something but I just couldn't help it.
That was actually my New Years Resolution 2010
well make it 2009 and 2008 too.
Just a hard habit to break.
I tried not buying them in the grocery store...
I tried not to go any frozen/tv dinner aisle...
somehow.. I have to get an ice cream and there
I go .. in that aisle....grabbing all my Marie Calendars
Al Dente Dinners. Sighs.
One of these days I know, I'll just stop cold turkey.
I know I will.
